Vishal Mishra – Ram Aayenge Lyrics (English Translation )

[Chorus]
Today, we will decorate every lane of Awadh
Today, we will lay down petals on every step
Oh, today, we will decorate every lane of Awadh
Today, we will lay down petals on every step
Today, the dried trees will bear fruit
Our eyes are becoming moist
How can we hide this happiness?
Lord Ram will arrive
We are so overwhelmed, we don’t know where to scatter the flowers
Lord Ram will arrive
Our eyes are becoming moist
How can we hide this happiness?
Lord Ram will arrive
We are so overwhelmed, we don’t know where to scatter the flowers
Lord Ram will arrive

[Verse 1]
The Sarju river wept at every bank
The day Lord Raghav (Ram) was exiled
Oh, the hundred mountains of separation melted
Oh Lord Raghurai, then you returned
This is that very moment, O Pure One (Lord Vishnu)
Which King Dashrath could not see
The sorrows of seven lifetimes will be erased today
Today, the banks of the Sarju will smile
Peacocks will dance, songbirds will sing today
Today, all ten directions are celebrating this auspicious occasion
Lord Ram will arrive
Our eyes are becoming moist
How can we hide this happiness?
Lord Ram will arrive

[Verse 2]
Sometimes drums are played, sometimes the doorways are adorned
Lord Ram will arrive
We are so overwhelmed, we don’t know where to light the lamps
Lord Ram will arrive
We will bring down the stars from the sky
O son of Kaushalya, we will offer everything to you
The tears that were held back for 14 years will now flow
In Ayodhya, our Ram will arrive, our Ram will arrive

[Verse 3]
Dark-complexioned like the blue sky, radiant like a million suns
The crown of Lord Narayan has arrived, Sheshnag is his bed
For ages, days and nights have been spent chanting “Raghav, Raghav”
Today, we have the sight of our Lord, our eyes are blessed
The three worlds bow their heads, and gods and humans pay their respects
There is one moon, one sun, and one Ram in the world
There is one Ram in the world

[Outro]
Today, all ten directions are celebrating this auspicious occasion
Lord Ram will arrive
Our eyes are becoming moist
How can we hide this happiness?
Lord Ram will arrive
Sometimes drums are played, sometimes the doorways are adorned
Lord Ram will arrive
We are so overwhelmed, we don’t know where to light the lamps
Lord Ram will arrive
