Thriller Freestyle – Zéon Squad (English Translation)
[Verse 1]
Alright, shut the fuck up
Last year I swept up everything (won big)
This year, I’m doing it again for my girl
300 euros in a cypher (a rap collaboration)
If I was a Jacks- (likely Jacksfilms, a YouTuber), I’d be mad jealous
B O N J O U R (Good day), I come to judge your scene, it needs to be solid
There won’t be a Zéon Cypher 2026
I’m gonna resell the ZS (Zéon Squad) to do old stuff (“zeille” = verlan for “vieille”)
When I set up this scene, it was to make money, this game is crazy
But it’s the crazy ones who have the sugar candy (money), the coup d’état moves
It’s nice but it’s not my age anymore
The routine is I kill, I sleep
I bought an iPhone for the cameras
I dance for Steve Jobs
I make 0 euros but I do the work of 6 jobs from a Discord channel
[Chorus]
2025, the beginnings feel like the past
My first bank card that I had to replace
I see the price of the pair (likely sneakers) I held in my hands
So this is what it’s like to lack money
It’s you and your grind that make you pretty at two in the morning (from grinding late)
The weight of the cards, carrying the jeans (responsibility)
The hunger of this kid who looks like a zombie
I leave the demons in peace (I don’t bother with them anymore)
[Verse 2]
I hand out discounted slaps to guys in Ray-Bans
Paco Rabanne (a perfume brand)
I come to get my share, pro-rata
I made misery, oratory art
I watch the sky from the hopscotch (“marelle” – from the bottom, from the streets)
They know the sky of the ENA (prestigious French national school for elites)
There won’t be a second you, that’s thanks to latex (condoms)
But you had to think of it the first time
Hey gringo, I walk into the studio like it’s a bistrot (a casual café)
I take the fries and the mojito
I arrive like light through stained glass
I record on the BOSS (recorder), so I cut the water (“coupé le bigo” – slang for stopped talking nonsense)
Ah, you do ZS? Go on, say the code
Why do they get involved? Let them immolate themselves
They’re bots, they’re cyborgs
If you’re looking for MG, well it’s become Micode (a famous French YouTuber)
