Ponman | K.S. Chithra x Justin Varghese – Paka Lyrics ( English Translation )

This spite, rises like smoke in the air.
This spite, pains like a birth’s despair.
This spite, stinks like sludge below.
This spite, runs deep, where the roots grow.

Tying up the wounds deep in your heart.
Kissing your eyes, wiping tears that depart.
Someone is coming in, with footsteps so light.
As you wear the burdens time kept in sight.
Within your heart, aren’t little shrimps dancing with delight?

Didn’t the night say, it can’t help but sway and make way for the dawn of day?
Didn’t you seek a shore, to embrace and cherish forevermore?
Something happened to my heart, it tied me up from the very start.
And then it blossomed, like a work of art.
Standing at a height, someone searches for a bounty bright.
On the hook of the mind, desires ignite, Anabas fish are taking the bite.
Wishes whispered are filling my ears.
If gold burns my body, I’ll toss it, no fears.
Like thunder and lightning striking the skies, it’s raining hard from my teary eyes.

Tying up the wounds deep in your heart.
Kissing your eyes, wiping tears that depart.
Someone is coming in, with footsteps so light.
As you wear the burdens time kept in sight.
Within your heart, aren’t little shrimps dancing with delight?
