Nam Gyu Ri – December Dream Lyrics (English Translation)

(Verse 1)
This winter, warmth has been a fleeting guest.
The days are long, and give my heart no rest.
I sit beside the window, watch the scattered lights,
While unspoken feelings fall like snow on silent nights.
And everyone is quietly enduring, just like me.
Sometimes, for just a moment, I wish someone could see,
And let me lean a little weight off this fragility.

(Pre-Chorus)
This cold and endless season—it isn’t our fault, right?
Sometimes we have to tell ourselves we’ll be alright,
And give our own tired souls a hug to make it through.
In every heart, there is a name that drifts beyond our reach,
And moments we can’t forget, a lesson each can teach,
That fill this winter night and color all we do.

(Chorus)
December Dream, I’m coming straight to you.
Miracle Dream, I’m gonna be with you.
I’m seeing just a little light there in your eyes,
I believe in the dream of a winter night.
December Dream, maybe it’s alright.
Miracle Dream, maybe it will rise.
If I can just hold onto hope tonight,
I’ll close my eyes, and trust in you and me.

(Verse 2)
And when the snow begins to fall down once again,
The whole world briefly pauses, lets out a long-held breath.
And even if we’re one step behind, just trailing in the race,
Sometimes, that slower pace can be a saving grace.

(Chorus)
December Dream, I’m waiting here for you.
Miracle Dream, I wanna be with you.
I’m seeing just a little light there in your eyes,
I believe in the dream of a winter night.
December Dream, maybe it’s alright.
Miracle Dream, maybe it will rise.
If I can just hold onto hope tonight…

(Bridge)
I’ll close my eyes… and believe.

(Outro)
When the darkness finally passes,
We will shine again.
